We want to thank everyone for coming out to this year's event. It was a great success and we are already planning for next year (April 11th-14th). We raised $2000 for our charity thanks to everyone purchasing the raffle tickets. A big thanks to all our sponsors. We are in the process of updating all our pages that display all the 2012 sponsors. Please visit them. Without their help, we would not be able to make our donations to the charity. And lastly, a big thank you from the club for all of those who helped out during the event. We had help in every area from getting sponsors, trail rides, setup, take down, meals, raffle - you name it, we had help. Without their help, the event would not be so organized.
As always, if you have any comments (good or bad), please feel free to contact us via this website, the Carolina Rover Owners Club website, or our Facebook page. Thanks again for attending and hope to see you next year.

It's that time once again - time to welcome the coming of spring to the forested, rolling hills of North Carolina's Piedmont. Come join us in beautiful Uwharrie National Forest (directions). The Uwharrie Safari is a family friendly and laid back event that combines off road driving in the National Forest with the camaraderie that we all enjoy as we drive the worlds best 4x4xFar!
Meet other Land Rover owners and take part in challenging yet non-damaging fun trail rides in the forest. There will be many events planned to allow owners of showroom stock Land Rovers to find out just what their shiny machine is capable of, together with a chance for modified machines to Strut Their Stuff.
For more information about this event, check out the General Information and Frequently Asked Questions section of the site. It will give you all the information about the event, how to register, dates, and a whole lot more. For those new to the event, we have tried to summarize what to expect in the 1st Time to Safari section.
This year the charity we will be supporting is The Conservators' Center. Hope to see you there!
